These projects come from a variety of courses I have taught at the College level.
Animated Rooms
Students created 3D rooms and then manipulated the camera and added movement. The images on the left show how changing camera settings can create an isometric effect. The videos show moving assets seen through an animated camera. The challenge was to move the camera to focus on one motion at a time. This requires an understanding of pacing and staging. Students used Maya for this project.
3D Characters
Students created rigged characters. The rigging is demonstrated by posing the character inside a modeled space. Here are examples of t-poses and characters in an environment.
storyboarding
students created a storyboard following dialogue from a Shakespeare play.
Othello Act 4 scene 3 Emilia
macbeth act 1 scene 5 lady macbeth
Reverse Engineered Storyboard
